Can a Fresh Graduate Buy a Car?

In general, majority of the fresh graduates are getting a salary of average RM2,500 per month and their gross annual income will be around RM30, 000.00 in total. In this case, they are more likely to look for cars that are affordable based on their salary.

What comes to your mind when you think of cars that are affordable for fresh entry level? Interior and Exterior Design With Safety in Mind

Let’s take a look at the brand new Perodua Axia Spec E. Under the hood, the Spec E shares the standard 1.0-litre VVT-I DOHC, which is a naturally-aspirated three cylinder engine with 67hp at 6,000 rpm. Spec E only comes with 5-speed manual transmission and that’s why the price is so affordable.

In terms of the exterior, it is equipped with 14-inch steel wheel, standard halogen projector head lamps and LED tail lamps. While for the interior, it comes with standard type fabric seats for front and rear, dual airbags for driver and front passenger. Due to lower the price and increase the affordability, the Spec E Axia does not come with an audio system.

Cost Saving for Entry Level Car

A RM23k Perodua Axia would be a good choice to ease your travelling hassle. Also, if you’re paying a 10% down payment and 7-years loan with 2.7% interest rate, the monthly payment will be only at around RM297.69 and RM242.05 for 9-years loan. The longer the duration for loan payment, the more you need to pay for the interest.

Do keep in mind that the cost of purchasing a car does not end with just the figure you see on the brochure, there will also be additional expenses including insurance road tax which to keep your car drive on the road legally.
