According to the latest announcement by the senior minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, this year’s Hari Raya will be celebrated differently.
Although we are now under the practice of Casual Restrictive Development Control request (CMCO) when majority of the businesses are allowed to reopen, the hometown visitation during Hari Raya is very much restricted. Malaysians are still not allowed to visit their friends and family neither from other states nor within the same states during the festival celebration.
This restriction is hope to help the authorities to ensure social distancing is still practiced during the festive season. Nevertheless, the government has offered an opportunity for those who are away from home before the MCO started to return during the period starting 7th May, ending 10th May 2020.
Stay safe and we wish you a blessed Ramadhan.
