Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has reported that a greater part of its service centers are currently open after a post on its social media page confirms it.
It said that majority of the service center across the country have acquired approval to resume operations from the Ministry Of International Trade and Industry (MITI). As such, strict precautionary measures have been introduced into its protocols.
For instance, service centers that operate are introduced to contactless vehicle acceptance. Furthermore, another step that the service centers undertake would be the sanitization of cars before and after service. As such, owners are urged to contact their preferred service center or sales advisor for further information.
Other measures incorporated are routine sanitization of the premises, security screenings and briefings for the staff, and routine temperature checks. On March 18, it declared the closure of its service centers as prompted by the government's movement control request, but it would respect the warranty.
